[edit] Identity

On May 15, 2006 the US Department of Defense released what they described as a list of the names, ID number, nationalities, dates of birth, and places of birth of all the captives held in Guantanamo -- in military custody. There is no one on the list named Hamid al-Razak. There are a number of Guantanamo detainees named Abdul Razak, and various transliterations thereof. But there is no one on the official list of names with the name al-Razak.

The Washington Post, on the other hand, reported on the progress of an individual named "Hamid al-Razak" to have access to hear whatever evidence the USA had against him. [1][2]
