Hamid Sayani

Hamid Sayani was a popular announcer with the Hindi Service of Radio Ceylon. He was the brother of Ameen Sayani who presented Binaca Geet Mala.
Hamid Sayani helped popularise Radio Ceylon across the Indian sub-continent. Millions tuned into the station widely regarded as the 'King of the Airwaves' in the 1950s and 1960s in South Asia.
