[edit] North Korean Hangul / pronunciation
I feel that I should leave a message here why they are as written in the article. Here's how the phrase "from Paektu to Halla (mountains)" is written and pronounced:
- The "한라" part is written as 한나 in North Korea.
Proof: This page here writes out the aforementioned phrase. - It is however still pronounced as Halla.
Proof: Listen to the "Reunification Rainbow" song on this page. Fourth line in the song (not counting the squeaking at the beginning of the song) is the aforementioned phrase.
Additionally, I read that ㄴ + ㄴ is mostly pronounced nn but can be ll in Chinese loan words, but that's in a book... -- KittySaturn 14:29, July 16, 2005 (UTC)
