Halsemon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. He is a Beast Digimon and the Armor Digivolved form of Hawkmon through the Digi-Egg of Love. He is fierce in aerial combat and attacks with wind and energy beams. Yolei, his DigiDestined partner, often flies upon his back. Halsemon's name is derived from Horus, an ancient Egyptian bird god; his Japanese name, Holsmon, is a misspelling of "Horus". His evolution lines are "Flapping Love (Habataku Aijou)"(Japanese) and "The Wings of Love"(English).

Halsemon can fly with grace and precision. He can also paralyze his opponents with a piercing stare.

  • Mach Impusle (Mahai Impulse): Halsemon releases blades of pressurized wind from the wings on his helmet to slash into enemies.
  • Tempest Wing: Halsemon spins around, creating a tornado with which to attack his enemy.
  • Eagle Eye (Red Sun): Halsemon fires glowing energy arrows from his eyes which can smite or paralyze his opponents.

Hawkmon first became Halsemon on the day of his revival,[1] when the Digimon Emperor abducted Davis. It was Yolei's love that evoked the Digi-Egg's power, allowing Hawkmon to Armor Digivolve to Halsemon, who destroyed the Dark Ring on Snimon, a Digimon under the Emperor's control. After that, Halsemon became a valuable fighter during the Digimon Emperor's reign of terror. But once Ken renounced his evil persona, Halsemon was no longer needed and appeared only a few more times; Aquilamon became Hawkmon's primary evolution.[2] However, during the battle with MaloMyotismon[3] Doppelgängers of Halsemon and the individual forms of all the partner Digimon were materialzied as a result of their DigiDestined's dreams.

Hawkmon became Halsemon to help Flamedramon, Gargomon, and Digmon fight Kokomon, who had Digivolved to Antylamon. When Antylamon Digivolved to Cherubimon the four Digimon were defeated.
