Hallington Reservoirs

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hallington reservoirs are located near the small village of Colwell, Northumberland, UK on the B6342 off the A68. Hallington is fished by many anglers of the Westwater Angling Club which is strictly fly fishing only. The main fish stocked in the waters is Rainbow Trout, but there are also a number of Brown Trout. Hallington is a superb place to spot wildlife with many different species of birds from Wag tails to Ospreys. There are a number of red squirrels in the area that are unfortuantly decreasing in numbers.
