Hal Gill (b. April 6, 1975, Concord, Massachusetts) is a professional hockey defenseman who plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

After being drafted in the 8th round, 207th overall at the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the Boston Bruins, Gill spent 4 years playing college hockey for Providence College before entering the NHL in the 1997-98 NHL season where he played over 600 regular season games for the Bruins.

Gill was one of many NHL players who played in Europe during the cancelled 2004-05 NHL season, playing in Finland for Lukko.

Before college, Gill played football at Nashoba Regional High School, where he served as quarterback ([1]).

On July 1, 2006, Gill signed a 3-year deal as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
