Hakodate Station (函館駅 Hakodate-eki?) is a railway station in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by the Hokkaido Railway Company. It is the terminus of the Hakodate Main Line and the Tsugaru-Kaikyo Line; Hakodate Municipal Transit streetcars stop at the adjacent Hakodate Eki-mae Station.

In addition to local services, the following long-distance trains serve Hakodate Station:

  • Hakucho and Super Hakucho limited express to Hachinohe
  • Cassiopeia and Hokutosei night express to Sapporo and Ueno
  • Hamanasu express to Sapporo and Aomori

The station has four platforms with eight lines. The have the following uses:

1~4 Hakodate Main Line(Local) For.Nanae, Ōnuma, Mori and Ohamanbe
Esashi Line(Local) For.Kamīso, Kikonai and Esashi
5~8 Hokuto Limited Experss For.Oshamanbe, Higashi-Muroran and Sapporo
Hakucho Limited Experss For.Aomori and Hachinohe
Night train Hokutosei Limited Experss For.Sendai and Ueno
