Hakea petiolaris, or Sea-urchin Hakea, is a shrub or small tree which is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.
It grows up to 9 metres in height and has pink and cream coloured flowers in globular clusters which appear from autumn to winter, followed by woody seed capsules which are 2 to 3.5 cm long and 1 to 2 cm wide. The leaves have a distinctive pale-grey colour and are 5.5 to 15 cm long and 2.5 to 6 cm wide.
