Hail Mary (Makaveli song)

"Hail Mary" is a single by Tupac Shakur featuring The Outlawz, taken from the album The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. It was written and recorded in only 30 minutes and is considered by many to be a classic.

This is one of the songs where people thought he was still alive. (see 7 Day Theory) The bells and dark sounds were typical features for Tupac's music during his "Makaveli" period. Some remark that this song contains his most deepest verses and proved his ability to write powerful lyrics.

According to some people, you can hear the words "seven years" in the background, others say you can hear "Suge did it", but none of those are believed to be intentional.

"Hail Mary" appeared on 2Pac's Greatest Hits in 1998. A remix of the song was also featured on the album Nu-Mixx Klazzics in 2003.
