Haifa bus 37 massacre

The Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing was carried out by Hamas. It occurred on March 5, 2003 when a Hamas member from Hebron detonated a bomb hidden underneath his clothes on a bus carrying many children and teenagers on their way back home from school. The bus exploded on Moria Ave., near the neighborhood of Carmeliya, in Haifa. 17 people lost their lives, and 53 were wounded.
