Haeber is my last name. I've heard it means "to lift up," but that source has been unverified by peer review, and thus subject to Wikipedia's guidelines.

I was born in 1981, and I possess degrees in English and Geography from UC Berkeley. I am a marketing copywriter by trade with freelance writing stints here and there.

My home town is Roseburg, Oregon, where I frequently hiked, fished, and explored the outdoors. My career in journalism started at the age of 17, where I secured a position with The News Review of Roseburg, Oregon.

My hobbies include the mining history of Oregon, roadside architecture, kitsch, spelunking, hiking, photography, and freelance writing. My first Wikipedia entry was on Miniature Golf.
