There are several Hadith regarding pre-Islamic marriage forms.

Also, there are some hadith claiming Nikah Mut'ah as a pre-Islamic marriage form. Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, a 20th century Sunni Islamic scholar wrote:
The two marriage forms used after Muhammad proclaimed his prophethood are Nikah Mut'ah and Nikah.

Presumably, regular Nikah was one of the marriage forms.
