Hachinohe Station, a railway station located in Hachinohe, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, is the northern terminus of the Tōhoku Shinkansen.

The station has five platforms with nine lines. The have the following uses:

1~3 Tōhoku Main Line(Local and rapid) For.Misawa, Noheji and Aomori
Hachinohe Line(Local and rapid) For.Hon-Hachinohe, Same, Taneichi and Kuji
Aoimori Line(Local and rapid) For.Kenyoshi, Sannohe, Ninohe and Morioka
4・5 Tsugaru Limited Experss For.Misawa, Noheji, Aomori and Hirosaki
Hakucho Limited Experss For.Misawa, Noheji, Aomori and Hakodate
Tōhoku Main Line(Local and rapid) For.Misawa, Noheji and Aomori
11~14 Tōhoku Shinkansen For.Morioka, Sendai and Tōkyō

  • September 1, 1891: Shiruchi Station is opened on the Aomori Line
  • January 4, 1894: Service on the Hachinohe Line is started
  • April 1, 1971: Station name is changed to Hachinohe Station. The station previously named Hachinohe Station is renamed Hon-Hachinohe Station.
  • July 1, 2002: The new station building (including the shinkansen) is opened
  • December 12, 2002: The Tōhoku Shinkansen is extended to Hachinohe Station.
