Habib Thiam

Habib Thiam (born 1933) is a Senegalese politician. He served as Prime Minister of the country on two occasions, from 1 January 1981 to 3 April 1983, and again from 8 April 1991 until 3 July 1998.

He also served as president of the Senegalese National Assembly from 1983 to 1984.

He is married to Anne Majken née Hessner, a native dane and former member of the Danish parliament for the Social Democratic Party. They have two girls.
