[edit] Family

He is the son of Paladine and Mishakal. He is the twin brother of Kiri-Jolith and his other brother is Solinari. His closest friend is Branchala, he gets along well with Chislev, and is against Zeboim.

[edit] Aspects

He is the god of persistence and loyalty, and patron deity to beasts, hunters, rangers, druids, sailors, and is also the natural cycle of life and death. He believes undead and others wrong uses of magic are terrible and opposes them. Habbakuk teaches peaceful and harmonic existence with nature, and is seen as a symbol of eternal life. He is also seen as an enforcer of natural justice. His symbol is the Blue Phoenix. His constellation is the Phoenix, also known as the Blue Phoenix. His followers wore purple before the Cataclysm; now they wear blue and white.

In Taladas, Habbakuk is little known other than to the Silvanaes. Most view Branchala as an aspect of Habbakuk.

[edit] Titles

He is known as Bindel the Dolphin Lord to the people of Baltch, The Blue Phoenix to the people of Ergoth, Qualinesti, and Silvanesti, Fisher King and Han-Yagas to the Minotaurs, Lord of Mariners, and Skylord to the people of Balifor and Goodlund, Abbuku the Father to the sea elves, and the Sea Lord to the people of Mithas, Silvanaes, and Armach.

[edit] Involvement with Knights

With Kiri-Jolith and his father, he helped establish the Knights of Solamnia, and he is the patron deity of the Knights of the Crown. Following the War of Souls, he backed away from the Knights, believing a single deity would profit them. The Knights still revere him however.

[edit] Artifacts

In the book The Inheritance, an elf has a powerful magic artifact shaped into a Blue Phoenix, which may or may not be a holy artifact of Habakkuk.
