H-World
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
H-World is a roleplaying game engine written by Hansjörg Malthaner for Windows and Linux. It is isometric perspective and consists of a wilderness and several non-persistent randomly generated dungeon complexes, companions, trading and status effects such as poison. The stories are written entirely in Lua and use PNG and JPEG images, so creating new game modules is fairly straightforward. It is no longer under active maintenance, but has been released under the GNU General Public License and placed on SourceForge.
Its default game module, The Jungle, takes place in the South American jungles.
