Hólar University College

Hólar University College is located in Hólar, Iceland. Hólar is a place of historical significance in regard to education. Hólar Agricultural College was founded in 1882 and renamed Hólar University College in 2003. There are three departments in the University.

  • Department of Aquaculture.
  • International Center for Icelandic Horses.
  • Department of Rural Tourism.
