Hércules Brito Ruas

Brito, real name Hércules Brito Ruas, (born August 9, 1939 in Rio de Janeiro) is a former football (soccer) player from Brazil. He played as a central defender for several clubs, and for the Brazilian national team. He won the 1970 FIFA World Cup.

Brito had his best results with Vasco da Gama, in particular he is the four times winner of Rio de Janeiro State championship.

He won the Brazilian silver Ball trophy in 1970.

Brito has 42 caps with the Brazilian national team between 1964 and 1972.

He won the Football World Cup 1970 with the Brazilian national team.He also played the Football World Cup 1966 (one game against Portugal).
