Héctor Rossetto

Héctor Decio Rosetto (September 8, 1922, Bahia Blanca, Argentina) is one of the best chess players of the Argentine history.

He was International Master of Chess in 1950 and Grandmaster in 1960.

He was a six-time Argentian Champion (1942, 1944, 1945, 1947, 1962, and 1972) and became director of the 1978 Olympic Games of Chess in Buenos Aires.

After Miguel Najdorf he was the most important Argentine chess player of his time.
