Håkon Eiriksson

Håkon Eiriksson, earl of Lade (Trøndelag). He was son of Eirik Håkonson. He was governor of Norway under Svein Forkbeard of Denmark from 1012 to 1015, with Einar Tambarskjelve as his aid and his uncle, Sveinn Hákonarson, holding some areas as a Swedish vassals. After Óláfr Haraldsson's arrival in Norway, Hákon fled to England where he was well received by Canute the Great and became earl of Worcester. He became governor of Norway again from 1028 to 1029 under Knut the Great but was lost at sea in 1029 or 1030.
