I'm a happily partnered 34 year old homosexual male, living in northern England.

I'm an Apple Macintosh fan boy, but I'm also very fond of Linux.

I've been cultivating more of an interest in sport recently. I've had a vague interest in Rugby League for ages, and more recently started watching Rugby Union. Last season ('04 - '05) I kind of got into watching Football (soccer) with my friends.

This Summer I've been learning how to follow Cricket for the first time in my life, and thoroughly enjoying the game. The sport is a complete rash of jargon and can seem very complex to the uninitiated, but with Wikipedia's help I have found a way through to enjoying the game. I'm looking forward to the fourth test in this year's Ashes series, which starts on Thursday.

My nickname, Gypsum Fantastic was the name of a character who appeared once in the TV programme, Brass Eye. Apart from me finding it funny, there's no significance to it at all.
