GWR 4575 Class

The Great Western Railway (GWR) 4575 Class is a class of steam locomotive. They are 2-6-2T small prairie type based on the 4500 Class but with larger side tanks.
No less than 11 of these tank engines survived, 4588, 5521, 5526, 5532, 5538, 5539, 5541, 5542, 5552, 5553 and 5572. 5553 was the last steam engine to leave Woodhams' Scrapyard in Barry, South Wales, in January 1990.
