[edit] History
Gweeter is a band that started in the Johnstown, PA area but has relocated to Philadelphia, PA. The band features Roger and Chad, who first played together in The Gutterballs. The Gutterballs released their debut and only release In Your Mouth in 1999 on Cambria Records. Roger and Chad went on to other projects, including working together in Aimless Self Destruction in 2001-2002, although no official material was released. Problems with guitarists caused both bands to come to an early death, so the two started a new project, Gweeter in 2002.
Gweeter's first recording The Devil is a Flowergun was recorded from January 2002 until March of 2002 at Buscemi Brothel Studios. The duo self released the CD before Gloryhold Records bought the rights to it and re-released it May 6th, 2003 with a bonus track. Soon after the release Gloryhold went bankrupt and their webpage was taken over by a pornsite. Through legal battles Gweeter was able to release music held by the defunct Gloryhold Records and will release it, as The Rainbow Express EP in 2006.
