Guy Mariano

Guy Mariano (born 1977) is a goofy footed professional skateboarder famous for his part in Blind Skateboards' Video Days (1991). Before Blind, Mariano was sponsored by Powell Peralta, and appeared in their video Ban This. In his later years, Guy rode for Girl Skateboards and had a seminal part in their second video Mouse (1996). After Guy retired from professional skateboarding due to injuries and other causes, he co-founded the Royal skateboard truck company with Rudy Johnson in 1997. He came out of retirement in 2005. Thrasher magazine featured a 14 page interview with Guy Mariano in its November 2005 issue. Mariano will be appearing in the upcoming Lakai video Fully Flared which is slated to be released in 2007.
