Gustavo Varela

Gustavo Antonio Varela Rodríguez (born 14 May 1978) is an Uruguayan football player.

He started his career in Club Nacional de Football in Uruguay, and now plays for Schalke 04 in Germany

He plays for Uruguay national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
