Gushikawa, Okinawa

Gushikawa (具志川市; -shi) was a city located in Okinawa, Japan from July 1, 1968 to April 1, 2005.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 62,814 and the density of 1,963.55 persons per km². The total area is 31.99 km².
On April 1, 2005, Gushikawa, Ishikawa-shi, Katsuren-chō, and Yonashiro-chō merged to form Uruma City.
