The claim about improvised gas chambers is a strong one, and therefore needs to be upheld by references. I have read both Radu Ioanid's book on the Holocaust in Romania, and the Wiesel report, and while there is unquestioned agreement about brutality, shootings and deportations, none of them mention anything like this. I also re-checked the link to the Holocaust in Romania wikipage and Antonescu's role in it, and they do not mention it either. The Gura Humorului Jewish community website does not say anything about gas chambers. Also, during Antonescu's post-war trial, the accusers didn't mention that he used (or intended to use) gas chambers, and it would have been strange for them to overlook a fact like this. I added a citation needed mark next to the claim. Could the author please cite the sources or modify the sentence? Thank you, Eugen Ivan 06:39, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

I have misunderstood this page: http://www.jewishgen.org/Yizkor/gura1/gur203.html (didn't check out the name of the camps, to see that some had died at Auschiwitz). Sorry. Dahn 07:04, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
