GURPS Martial Arts is a source book for the GURPS role-playing game, published by Steve Jackson Games in 2006. "GURPS Martial Arts" also includes new Skills, Advantages, Disadvantages, Maneuvers, Styles, and Weapons for GURPS, as well as history on the Martial Arts, many pre-made Martial Arts characters, and some ideas for Martial Arts campaigns. Martial Arts is an essential for any game based in the modern east or earlier. "GURPS Martial Arts" will also work for a fantasy or medieval setting.

[edit] Fourth edition
Primarily this book is an update and expanded revision of the third edition Martial Arts source book for the fourth edition GURPS rules. Additionally, material from GURPS Swashbucklers (such as maneuvers, styles, weight, speed, rangeā¦), detailed and expanded weapons customization rules from GURPS Low Tech, and notes about Mixed Martial Arts competitions and tournaments are added.
Material related to weapons and heavily focused combat will be reserved for the GURPS Low Tech, and poisons and toxins will be reserved for a later book on Black Ops or Espionage despite being useful to ninja characters. Guns and Gun Fu will be covered in the fourth edition GURPS High-Tech.
