Gunner 3 is a popular platform shooter-type computer game made by KNPMASTER and MASTERRAICHU, the creators and owners of the very popular The Games Page (TGP) Website. Gunner 3, released in 2000 and made by Multimedia Fusion by Clickteam, was the game that brought TGP to the attention of the world. You can find websites from France to Timbuktu (literally) that cover this game. This game is considered a classic and a treasure to many, especially in the Klik Community.
Gunner 3 was released in 2000. Unlike its predecessors, Gunner and Gunner 2, a lot of time and effort was made is creating it. It had graphics for each of the more than twenty weapons and arguably excellent graphics (save the trees which received criticism). There was better aiming and more control as well. After Gunner 2, released circa 1998 as a sort of "rushed experiment" KNPMASTER wanted to make a groundbreaking new game. He experimented with a new type of game maker called Click 'N' Create. Thus he made Gunner 3D, his one-shot at a groundbreaking new 3D First Person Shooter. There are no available copies at this time, but it might be re-released in the future by TGP. During its brief stint on TGP, it was describes as "archaic" with "Duke Nukem 3D-style reticle gameplay" and "Pseudo Doom where you shoot Doom Imps." It was released circa 1999. Then came a breakthrough. Multimedia Fusion came out and KNPMASTER got it and made Gunner 3 with hard work and help from lifelong friends. It was a return to the old-style fighting but with a new engine. It quickly became a favorite of gamers everywhere, especially because it was free. There were three version, one normal, obtained from TGP, one with level 3 music cut out, obtained at Download.com, and a screwed up one obtained at an unknown place. It had messed up gameplay and crashed after the first or second level and destroyed saved games. Gunner 4 was originally slated to be released in the Fall of 2005, but has been delayed and rebuilt several times. [1]
