Gunnar Kvassheim

Gunnar Kvassheim (born 14 June 1953 in Eigersund) is as of 2006 a member of the Storting (Norwegian parliament) from Rogaland County serving in the Norwegian Liberal Party (Venstre).

Kvassheim originally won membership in the 1997 election, remaining in office until 2001. From 2001 to 2005 he was State Secretary in the office of the Norwegian Prime Minister. He returned to the Storting following the 2005 election. Before 1997, he held a number of posts in local government in his native Rogaland.
