The gulf catshark, Asymbolus vincenti, is a cat shark of the family Scyliorhinidae found only off Western Australia at depths of between 27 and 220 m. Its length is up to 61 cm.
The gulf catshark is widespread on the continental shelf and slope edge.
Reproduction is oviparous, with a single egg-case to each oviduct at a time.
