The Gulf Coast Exploreum is a non-profit science center located in Downtown Mobile, Alabama. The Exploreum houses the only Domed IMAX Theater on the Gulf Coast, the only full scale chemistry lab where visitors can participate in experiments and the only 3-D virtual theater.

The Exploreum is home to three permanent exhibits, Minds-On Hall, Hands-On Hall, and the Wharf of Wonder. There is also an exhibit hall that hosts a traveling exhibit. Past traveling exhibits include the Dead Sea Scrolls in 2005 and "Mummy: The Inside Story" in 2006. In 2007 The Exploreum will host the exhibit "A Day in Pompeii".
