Guillermo Sevilla Sacasa

Guillermo Sevilla Sacasa was Nicaraguan Ambassador to the United States from 1943 until 1979, when President Anastasio Somoza Debayle was ousted from Nicaragua. Because of his long service as ambassador to Washington, he was the Dean of the Diplomatic Service. He was married to Lillian Somoza DeBayle, the daughter of the Nicaraguan Dictator Anastasio Somoza García.
Lillian Somoza was born May 3, 1921, in Leon, Nicaragua, the eldest daughter of Anastasio Somoza Garcia and Salvadora DeBayle Sacasa. She was born Lillian Ada de la Cruz Somoza DeBayle.
When she was fifteen years old, her face appeared in the billet of one cordoba, the national currency of Nicaragua. Crowned as the queen of the National Guard. Married with Guillermo Sevilla Sacasa in 1943.
