Guest worker program
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Guest worker program is a program proposed by U.S. President George W. Bush as a way to permit U.S. employers to sponsor non-U.S. citizens as laborers for approximately three years, to be deported afterwards if they have not yet obtained a Green Card. The program has been criticized as granting amnesty for illegal immigrants. It is unclear if undocumented workers will register into the program.
