[edit] Halloween Horror Nights

Since you seem to be knowledgeable about the topic, could you give me the reference you used for the statement about the official soundtrack for Halloween Horror Nights being from Midnight Syndicate? I'm trying to improve the HHN article and that information would be great for the introduction. Thank you! --Farquaadhnchmn(Dungeon) 20:53, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

It was in an older blog on the HHN site that some of the actors were discussing when they were putting together music for last year, this year too, I think. Each year it appears a group of the actors put together a "play list" and they always begin it with the introductory narrative from Joseph Vargo, the one that starts off with Born of the Night... they also mix in some other songs from various bands, but Born of the Night is always at the top of the list. What are your thoughts on the whole MS article discussion? I seem to have hit a brick wall. I may have to request mediation just to get over one little thing about producer credits. It seems pretty silly but since it seems so important to my opposition to argue the point, I want to check it out. GuardianZ 02:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arbitration

I am initiating an arbitration request on Midnight Syndicate. The formal request will be posted at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration shortly. You will be a named party in this dispute. DurovaCharge! 03:08, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User notice: temporary 3RR block

[edit] Regarding reversions[1] made on December 13, 2006 to Midnight Syndicate

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.
The duration of the block is 48 hours. William M. Connolley 20:19, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I did not make repeated reverts. I removed one item that was earlier disputed and I cited an item that Skinny McGee took out. I did not revert nor did I edit more than twice in a 24 hour period.

Skinny McGee is the one who made repeated reverts as evidenced by:

  • Also per Wrong Version guidelines I request that the correct version be protected due to the defamatory content now in place on the protected page. Could you please post this to Steel359 as he is the one protecting a wrong version and may not be aware of the Wrong version guideline.

I am being blocked from posting evidence on the arbitration page by Dionyseus who is part of this edit war and who has in the past tried to keep me from posting citations and evidence for this article. I have been blocked for no reason.

Dionyseus, you are NOT welcome to post on my talk page. Stay away from my talk page and stop harassing me!GuardianZ 01:52, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

There apears to be no 3rr violation indicated by those diffs. A 3rr violation is the same edit bring reverted over and over. ---J.S (T/C) 22:32, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

JS, I think you are wrong. Please allow another admin to look at the edits. They clearly show reverts, not new material and they are repeated by Skinny over and over, with Dionyseus making the last revert to meatpuppet with Skinny. Skinny has violated 3RR no matter how you cut it. And I have NOT. GuardianZ 02:04, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Also, Dionyseus falsly accused me of 3RR to block me from arbitration.GuardianZ 02:06, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your help template usage

What is your question in regards your your usage of the "helpme" template? Navou talk 03:41, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I have been blocked and I did not commit 3RR. Please look. I only made 2 edits today on the Midnight Syndicate article, and they were not reverts to old material. I only removed defamatory and disputed content posted by another user. It was not previously discussed and he posted it knowing it was already disputed. Dionyseus has been reverting also and removing my cites. I have not violated 3RR. It states one must make 4 repeated reversions in a 24 hr period. I have not done this. I am also in the midst of presenting evidence in arbitration. The person who falsely reported me for 3RR is Dionyseus and is my opponent in that arbitration case. GuardianZ 03:59, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

    • The policy states that an editor must not perform more than three reversions, in whole or in part, on a single Wikipedia page within a 24 hour period. This does not imply that reverting three times or fewer is acceptable. Users may be blocked for edit warring or disruption even if they do not revert more than three times per day.

From what I can see in the policy... I am not saying you did or did not, nor did I check. That is beyond my expertise at the moment. I hope this helps clear up the policy a little. More is available at WP:3RR. It also appears an ArbCom has been started, so I won't comment further. Best of luck to all parties involved. If you find this was not helpful, please replace the template. Navou talk 04:05, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
