Guangzhou TV Tower

Guangzhou Tower is a telecommunication tower in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou at 217 m and was erected in 1991.

There are plans to erect a new tower with a height of 580-600 m, surpassing Toronto's CN tower as the tallest tower in the world.

The new tower will be home to Guangzhou TV and 15,400 m² of office space. The project is scheduled to start in late 2004 with completion in 2008.
