Guan Jing was an officer of the Three Kingdoms Period that served under Gongsun Zan. After Gongsun Zan committed suicide by being surrounded by the whole army of Yuan Shao, Guan Jing nobly rushed into the army of Yuan Shao for the sake of Gongsun Zan, and died for his sake. Guan Jing became known as a very great historical figure following this.
