Gualdo Cattaneo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Perugia in the Italian region Umbria, located about 25 km southeast of Perugia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,251 and an area of 96.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Gualdo Cattaneo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barattano, Ceralto, Cerquiglino, Cisterna, Collesecco, Grutti, Marcellano, Pomonte, Ponte di Ferro, Pozzo, San Terenziano, Saragano, and Torri.
