Guajará-Mirim

Guajará-Mirim is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Rondônia. It is located at latitude 10º46'58" South and longitude 65º20'22" West, at an altitude of 128 meters. Its population was estimated to be 42.075 in 2004.

It lies along the Mamoré River, just across the Bolivian border town of Guayara Mirim. It was once the southern terminus of the Estrada de Ferro Madeira-Mamoré (the Madeira-Mamoré Railway), which was inaugurated in 1912.
