Grzegorz Chodkiewicz

Grzegorz Chodkiewicz (Hrehory) - (? - 1572), was Lithuanian nobleman and military officer, named Great Lithuanian Hetman in 1566. He was named Vitsebsk Voivode in 1554, Kiev Voivode in 1555 and in 1559 Troki castellan. In 1561 he led a campaign against Russia in Livonia. On January 20, 1564 he defeated the entire Russian army in a battle on Druckie fields. In 1566 he was nominated Vilnius castellan and Great Lithuanian Hetman.
