Grumblemon

Grumblemon (Japanese: Grottomon) is a fictional character from the Digimon Frontier series. He is the Legendary Warrior of Earth, using the power of AncientVolcamon. An oni digimon, Grumblemon is a proud figure who hates to be bossed around. He has an overconfident personality and insults his enemies at any chance he gets. He was the first of the Evil Warriors to surface, Slide Evolving to Gigasmon. He managed to take Tommy and Zoe's spirits. In the English version he is so stupid he can't form sentences properly, although he talks normally in the Japanese version.
However, when Takuya first became BurningGreymon, Grumblemon lost his Beast Spirit to Takuya and Tommy regained his spirit. Grumblemon was eventually defeated by J.P. as MetalKabuterimon, who scanned his spirit as Zoe regained hers. Grumblemon's Human Spirit was transferred into Takuya's D-Tector so with the beast spirit, Takuya could Hyper Spirit Evolve to EmperorGreymon.
He was voiced by Tomohiro Nishimura (Japan) and Derek Stephen Prince (US).

Grumblemon wears his handmade "Rot Armor" on his person and wields the "Grotto Hammer". He can also dig through solid rock and open a bottle that releases smoke that can summon Golemon to his command. As Gigasmon, he is a giant whose skin possesses a firmness that is above ceramics.

- Snake Eye Break: He turns his enemies into stone and uses his hammer to destroy them.
- Jack in the Box: Leaps out of the ground and attacks with his hammer.
- Seismic Sledge: Pulls a hammer out of the ground or his armor which he uses to crush his enemies as well as to make the earth crack. The hammer can extend on command.

- Hurricane Bomber (Quagmire Twister): Spins around like a tornado.
- Earthquake (Tectonic Slam): Leaps above the ground and makes a ground-shaking landing.
[edit] Appearances
Grumblemon first appeared in the episode when J.P. becomes Beetlemon. The kids do not know of him, but he is really upset that they have found another human spirit. Grumblemon is the first of the evil spirit warriors to be found, he is also the first to be defeated. When Grumblemon first appears to the Digidestined, he is also the first to use a beast spirit (Gigasmon). His beast spirit is taken from him by Takuya after he obtains his beast spirit- BurningGreymon (Vritramon). He is finally defeated in episode 14 by J.P. (Junpei) when he gets his beast spirit, Metalkabuterimon (Borgmon). When Grumblemon is defeated, Zoe's (Izumi) spirit returns to her, after it was stolen from her.
