The town centre (darkgreen) and the statistical district (lightgreen) of Groet in the municipality of Bergen (NH.).

Groet (52°43′N 4°40′E) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Bergen, and lies about 11 km northwest of Alkmaar.

In 2001, the village of Groet had 1486 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.3 km², and contained 589 residences.[1] The wider statistical area of Groet has a population of around 1720.[2] This includes the neighbouring village of Hargen.
