Groenekan

The town centre (dark green) and the statistical district (light green) of Groenekan in the municipality of De Bilt.

Groenekan (52°7′N 5°9′E) is a village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It is a part of the municipality of De Bilt, and lies about 3 km west of Bilthoven.

In 2001, the village of Groenekan had 829 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.28 km2, and contained 328 residences.[1] The statistical area "Groenekan", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1879.[2]
