Groaty pudding (also known as Grorty Dick) is a traditional dish from the Black Country. It is made from soaked groats, beef, leeks and onion which are are baked together for a long duration, often a whole day. In the Black Country it is traditional to eat groaty pudding on Guy Fawkes Night.
