Grimsel Pass

The Grimsel Pass (German: Grimselpass) (el. 2165 m.) is a Swiss alpine pass between the valley of the Rhone River (Canton of Valais) and the Haslital (upper valley of the Aar river) in Canton of Berne, at 46°33.72′N 8°20.34′E.

It is located near the source of the Rhone at the Rhone Glacier. Also in the area is the world famous Grimsel Test Site (http://www.grimsel.com).
