Grignano Polesine

Grignano Polesine is located in the Province of Rovigo, Italy. Aministratively it is a frazione of the Commune of Rovigo and is located about 8 km west of the city centre. It has a population of about 3,000. It has a famous Piazza Umberto I with its very famous "Pavajon" and its famed parish church of Grignano Polesine, situated in the wonderful Piazza S.Benedetto, centre of numerous social and humanitaria initiatives.
Grignano is one of the most pleasant towns of the Polesine, remembered by visitors for the pleasant places and the cordiality of its inhabitants. In Grignano are numerous industrial and farming and commercial activities, which make the area around an important center of economic interest.
The Festival of Grignano Polesine happens in August and attracts every year hundreds of visitors from all the Polesine.
