Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your edit on the Hopeful Monster article. I agree that I think the prior version represented a creationist view. I have gone ahead and restored what I think was the article prior to the creationist rewrite, feel free to look it over. To restore old versions (called reverting) look at the history tab. There you can see every revision the article has gone through. If you want to restore an old version,

  1. under "History", click on the date/time of the version you want. This brings up the page as it once appeared.
  2. Click "edit this page." A warning should be at the top of the page indicating you are editing an old version. No need to modify the text.
  3. Add an edit summary indicating revert and reason (like "revert, vandalism" or "rv to last edit by Bcasterline.") and click save.
  4. Check the saved page is what you expect.

In general, you should never revert a page more than three times in one day. More information can be found at WP:REVERT.

I have gone ahead and attached a welcome message below, since it has some useful links. Feel free to write a note on my talk page if I can help with anything. Well done and again, welcome to Wikipedia. --TeaDrinker 00:23, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
