**Greetings**
Why did I ever set my homepage to random article? Since I end up spending vast amounts of work-time here reading and correcting spelling mistakes anyway I finally decided to make my name and contributions known to the world. So hello world. I hope I can add something of value.
- It is a common misconception that Grendel's Mother is female. As with most misconceptions this is not the case.
- One thing I love about Wikipedia is the use of internal links which prevent the even the mildly curious from doing anything they are supposed to be doing with their day and instead have them broadening their horizons. I also would have thought that days spend worming through internal links pacify the human soul, but after perusing the discussion pages I see this is not the case.
- I am becoming increasingly interested in Wikipedia governance. This project is a wonderful experiment in anarchy and the inevitable development of a socio-political system from scratch, something not many in the world have been privvy to witness first-hand elsewhere. As all human structures however, as wikipedia becomes powerful those seeking power through it are more numerous and more audacious. Please have a look at Karmafist's manifesto [1], and feel free to call in to my discussion page for a chat on anything related to this.
- Grendel's Mother is wholly inept where anything other than basic typing on a computer is concerned, your patience with his errors or if he has stolen your userpage will be appreciated.
- Personally I dislike when a wikipage offers me unsolicited information that is not strictly within the realm of the topic at hand. Again a case for more internal links. So I am going to focus on that but I also want to add to the following topics if my knowledge or search skills have anything to offer:

* Naval history
