Gregory Lane "Greg" Moniz (born October 4, 1987) is a former student at Barrington High School. He is currently attending classes at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Moniz was born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Barrington, the youngest of three children born to Stephan and Denise Moniz, who ended up getting divorced when Greg was six years old. He attended St. Luke's Catholic School in Barrington for six years (Grades K-5). He left St. Luke's after his mother had a falling out with the school.
He attended Barrington Middle School and later BHS, where he graduated in 2006.
Since graduating, Moniz is still living in Barrington and attending classes at the Newport campus of CCRI. He that he chose CCRI because he "doesn't know what he's going to do with his life and hopes that he can figure out his life's goal at CCRI".

Moniz became well known at BHS for his very eccentric behavior. His habit of spouting mostly inappropriate comments and his usually violent temper sometimes made those around him uneasy but was too funny to resist. When playing ultimate Frisbee with his friends in Barrington, he would often display such behavior, and it occasionally resulted in him making fine plays, leading his friends to call him "The Moniz Factor".
[edit] Controversy & Supposed Reform
While in St. Luke's, Moniz displayed some early violent behavior when he attacked another on a schoolbus with a pair of scissors. The incident nearly got him expelled.
In middle school and through his freshman year of high school, Moniz recieved the distinction of of being a pervert after he sexually harassed a girl in eigth grade. Amazingly, he did not get disciplined for this. The following year, Moniz got into even more hot water when he was caught with pornographic images that he had bought earlier in the day. These incidents left him humiliated, and every time he recalls these incidents, he says that it makes him want to "jam a knife into his skull".
Moniz's inappropriate comments have at times crossed the line. He has made off-color comments on abortion, suicide, pornography, and murder. He also once audio-recorded a class discussion without the teacher's permission, causing her to absolutely lose her temper when she found out what he was doing.
However, since graduating from BHS, Moniz has attempted to do what he calls a complete "reboot" of his life. Since starting at CCRI, he has tried to start fresh and forget any "bonehead moves" he has ever made. According to Moniz, "All that stuff, the porn, the perverted shit, and everything else, it never happened. IT NEVER HAPPENED! I have reformed. Fuck you if you don't believe me!"

Moniz is very much a supporter of the political left. A registered Democrat, his very liberal views include support for gay rights & gay marriage, strict laws on gun control, and pro-choice causes. He is also strongly against the War in Iraq and has criticized President George W. Bush for lengthy involvement in the war with "no end in sight".
Despite his strong liberal views, Moniz claims to be very open-minded towards most conservative causes even if he doesn't agree with them.

Moniz was raised as a Roman Catholic, attended a Catholic school for six years, and was baptized and confirmed. However, he's convinced that organized religion is not for him and is currently an atheist.

Moniz is a lifelong Baseball fan. He played Little League Baseball in his youth but decided to give up the game and just be a fan. He claims to have memorized countless years of statistics including a certain player's batting average for whatever year and ERAs. The highlight of his summer is always watching the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in July, and he always looks forward to watching the playoffs and World Series and provide insight on certain players and plays.
His favorite team is the Seattle Mariners, and his favorite Mariner of all-time is former 3rd Baseman/DH Edgar Martinez. He owns an autographed baseball signed by him and a commemorative photo depicting Martinez playing in his final game. Moniz very much hopes that Martinez is inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Moniz suffers from Clinical Depression, a disorder that he claims has strenghted suicidal thoughts. He takes 20mg of citalopram every day as treatment
Enjoys reading graphic novels. He is a huge fan of Batman
He's an admirer of Quentin Tarantino and his films. Pulp Fiction is his favorite
Has toyed with the idea of becoming an actor
Favorite music / bands include Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Johnny Cash
Huge fan of the James Bond Series (From Russia with Love is his favorite film in the series)
Has an affinity for motorcycles
Did not attend his Senior Prom
He reportedly has an incredible memory and is able to recite the names of every single United States President in chronological order
