Hello. I am very happy to edit this article and provide more information over the next days or weeks. Please look also at Germany's Wikipedia, where anyone can find an already larger biography on Ms Sultan. Greetings, M.v.Bredow (moalvb@web.de)

Hello again. I have reverted the term "born as a German Jew". To Grete Sultan and her family, as for most assimilated German Jewish families, being Jewish was absoluely not important in terms of identity. They were and felt German, and Grete Sultan herself foremost felt as a musician. Also, she did not fly to the US, but went by ship. I will continue to add more information as time goes by. Thank you. Moritz (moalvb@web.de)
